TREVOR MELVIN

Trevor is an accomplished, award-winning director whose remarkably versatile body of work includes campaigns for VW, Hovis and KitKat, as well as an anti drink-driving spot, Dave, which won silver at the Creative Circle Awards and gold at the BTAA.

Trevor first made his mark as an art director working for some of the leading agencies in London, including Young & Rubicam and Grey, where he was responsible for a string of high-profile campaigns for clients such as British Gas, Mercedes and Mansfield Clothes, for which he won a gold Clio for best art direction.

Trevor’s commercials reflect a consummate filmmaker of great visual flair and a particular affinity for capturing domestic, slice-of-life scenarios in an uplifting yet understated way.

In 2007, he directed a short film The Soul Rescuer, which premiered at the LA International Short Film Festival and received a commendation from Turner Classic Shorts Film Competition.
