Ruairi was born in Dublin in 1978. He attended the National Collage of Art and Design where he gained an Hons Degree in Visual Communications in 2000.

In 2002 Ruairi was nominated for an Oscar Award for Best Short Animated Film for “Fifty Percent Grey”.

He has worked with clients that include Ballyfree, Zanussi, Race Against Waste, Dairygold, 98FM, Move Over Butter, The Den, BPM, Advil, Boru Vodka, Meteor, Vodafone, Carlsberg, Amigo Orange Juice, Ritz, and made title sequences for music videos and feature films including “Disco Pigs”, “When the Sky Falls” and “Peaches”.

His most recent works include directing the 6 Ad Milk Campaign for BC Dairy Canada. as well as completing “The Silent City” an amazing live action short film that has once again made Hollywood come calling.
